Going from Sibelius 7+ to NOTION 5 via MusicXML and then going from NOTION 5 back to Sibelius 7+ will not be exact in every respect, since there are differences in the music notation formatting among these two applications, but it will be reasonably close, and unless you have advanced engraving requirements, you should be able to do everything in NOTION 5 without needing to switch to Sibelius 7+ for advanced engraving. Later, if you want to use Sibelius 7+ for advanced engraving, you can export the music notation from NOTION 5 in MusicXML format and then import it to Sibelius 7+, where you can make adjustments and do additional engraving work. This will make sense after you do it a few times, and it is the best way and the easiest way to achieve the goal. You will need to check each instrument assignment in the NOTION 5 score, and if the instrument you desired is not the instrument which was assigned by default, you can change the instrument manually using one of the NOTION 5 Score Setup choices. Now, the music notation from your Sibelius 7+ score is in a NOTION 5 score, and the various instruments will be assigned to their default values, which should map to the same or similar instruments that were used in your Sibelius 7+ score.

Sibelius 7+ will export MusicXML, and it does this in either of two ways, (a) uncompressed and (b) compressed, where for this strategy you will want to export uncompressed MusicXML from Sibelius 7+. However, there is another way to do what I think you want to do, where the result is the same but the strategy is different. It is not possible to enter notation in Sibelius and then ReWire to NOTION in order to use NOTION as the audio engine and the source of instrument samples in this way.
